Friend’s vs friend list

In today’s world we cannot imagine life without few special people we call friends. Some people spend their life with a few, for some it is less than that; they have no one on whom they can call in good times or bad. There is no one with whom to bounce ideas around, or to talk about deep and troubling subjects. They have no one in times of need or difficulty. They are at the mercy of life, standing alone.

Others seem to have a multitude of friends (like me). Wherever they go, people know them, like to be around them. Should trouble strike, their biggest hesitation might be over which friend to call. They know exactly the person with whom to discuss the topics of inquiry and debate. Life is full of entertaining and refreshing relationships because it is full of friends.

Of course, some people are perfectly happy to manage with fewer friends. They might moderately have a few deep and loyal friends, than many superficial ones. Others thrive best when friends are everywhere and numerous. It is not so much the number of friends that is important as is the possession of friends, period.

Today when someone says friends, first thing that comes to our mind is ‘Facebook’. Now a day’s people have gone virtual this virtual world connects you to as many as you want. Its called socializing but the reality is we still have the same number of friends, but their an increase in your friend list which is actually full of ‘Frenemies’: Half friend, half enemy. So this social media plays an important part in our life because it has now acquired people and given a platform. It’s now a tool where people can insult one another, use slang, share abusive posts, comments, etc. Till the person life becomes socially challenge. Will your real friend do such a stuff to you?

Friendship is like a blessing, and a friend is the channel through whom great emotional, spiritual, and sometimes even physical blessings flow. Friends can cheer us when we’re sad or depressed. Friends can challenge us when we allow ourselves to get beyond our reasonable boundaries. Friends can motivate us when we’re ready to give in, and they can provide for us when life falls apart. They are there when all is well, and we want someone with who to share life’s pleasant and memorable moments. We often just want them around to have a good time, to laugh, to act silly; to enjoy some mutually liked activity. In how many ways have friends enriched our lives and made us feel loved, accepted, respected and cared for? Probably, too many to list, and the list grows daily.

You can always tell a real friend: when you’ve made a fool of yourself, he doesn’t feel you’ve done a permanent job.

Life as a Rickshawala

Mumbai won’t be that easy to travel without Auto rickshaw around the city. A three wheeler vehicle, it carries 3 passengers and one driver. A rickshaw ride is quite an experience. Rickshaw don't have any doors makes it convenient to enjoy the journey with beautiful view around. One utterly love taking rickshaw rides, they are so cheap and fast, and the breeze during evening are soul touching.
Today people are hit by inflation around the world, so India is no exception. Mumbai being one of the costliest cities, it’s not that easy to leave an easy life here. A Rickshawala too has his sufferings in the city of dream many come up with different dream and are forced to take up a job as a rickshaw driver. Many times we come up with such stories while travelling they share their grief with us. Today the condition has really changed its not only because of them it because of us too. A coin has two sides so does their story too have a bright and a negative side.
The Traffic regulation changes time to time like rickshawala has to install a cng kit, to cope up with new regulation .if he fails to do so he has to bribe many traffic police because he is helpless. The conditions of the roads are pathetic so the maintenance cost of rickshaw is not that easy. Something or other thing has to be looked upon. Yes I agree that many of them temper meter and even if they install digital meter they will do the same. The only way to deal with is get better roads and corruption free Mumbai ,but it not possible so easy so we have to take indicative and wait.
They refuse us rides. They show little or no respect for traffic laws. And yet, here we are, hopelessly dependent on them because the government still doesn’t have a better and cost efficient way that can ease our travelling. The government is just helpless when rickshawala strikes, Mumbai somewhere come on a stand still. In past there have been campaigns like ‘Meter Jam’ followed by new rules that should be followed by them. Helpline numbers finally where initiated and now the mass can register complaints against them.
The fact is that today everyone is complaining about them.
Government busy making policy for them.
Union people busy doing politics about them.
Meter jam volunteers campaigning about them.
Tabloids writing about you’re grumbling masala about them.
Rickshawala waiting that someday someone will feel like them and understand the problem they face every day for being a rickshawala.

Just once think about them, Rickshaw is really an appropriate way to travel the crowdy city.

Desh khada doe rahe pe

Desh khada doe rahe pe
Halla ho raha har chau rahe pe
Mei baitha soch raha kaun si rah jau
Koi bole soch ko badlo
Koi bole neta ko badlo
Koi bole kanoon ko badlo
Koi bole desh ko badlo
Sab kya yeahi sikayenga
Kya hume chup chap  galat ko sahi tharayenga
Aaj  shuru hui ek nayi race hai
Jahaan logo ne badla apna bhaise hai
Kaun jitah kaun hara
Akhir mei Desh hua badnaam humara
Kya yeah sab badlav layega ?
Kya yeah loge corruption ko mitayenga?
Ya sab halla karke apne ghar ko jayenga?
Yeah toh smaya batayega!
Akhir India hai, In the end sab thik hojayega
Desh khada do rahe pe
Halla ho raha har chau rahe pe

Yaad hai woh gaon ki gaalian

Yaad hai woh gaon ke gaalio mei bhatak na
Woh  aam ke paidoe se latak na
Sham ko khetoh ki share
woh kabhi kabhi aapas ki bare
woh gaon ke bazzar ki fair
woh chok pe kahaniyo ka dhore
jise mei kabhi nahi hua bore
woh  sab ke ghar ka tour
Jahaan sab ne mera pe kiya gore
Aur sometimes mei hua bore
woh talav ke kinare se tehalna
woh mera machlia pakdne ke liye machalna
woh chok pe chai aur samoso ki smell
How can I ever forget?
Woh bujurgo kya pyaar
Aaj bhi hai mera saath unka ka ashirwd
Woh dada ke saath gadio pe share
Ithni garmi kahaan se kare bare
Aaj bhale koson doore hoon
chahaye sahare mei mashoole hoon
Fir bhi dil ke kisi kaune mei chuppa hai
woh mera pyaar, mera gaon ki yaad

A sister of my dreams

She is a sister of my dreams
Her smile makes my day
she is the thoughtful one
Who forgives me for my mistakes
She love to spend time with me
Her love and affection is what I need
She is similar to a gift from the God
Who knows her brother to the best then all
She is the one who fill my life
Her prayer stays right by my side
She never let me down
Who support when my confidence drowns
She is so far away
her voice just a call away
She has a unique place in my life
Who can get what she utters
She is very bright
Her existence has changed me wide
she is everything that I needed
Who’s presence in my life is like a dream come true

I am so lucky Rasika that you’re my sweet little sister. My Search wasn’t easy I know ,because it took time .But finally god gave me the gift that I always wanted a sweet little sister who cares for me who loves me.No matter where I’ll go, u'll be in my heart forever.

Canteen-Maggie-Photography

I still remember the early morning photography lecture at Maggie canteen .one of memorable part of my college life; one knows that canteen is place for hangout in campus. It’s simple we had a chill filled photography lecture sipping cold coffee or ice tea with friends chatting experimenting with our skills on the subject. The place is spacious as its open area greenery all around, and a variety of refreshments and best maggie available. It tends to be the most popular place on campus, as it is adjacent to hostel it is always filled with students. Our somaiya campus has more than five canteens ;).

The photography session was about four to five hours so every week we had a nice place to chill out. Where my classmates use to bring guitars sing some lovely song, share our piece of mind and so it was one of the most rocking places for us. As our professor was a dude kind of a person I had a friend kind of relation with him so shared joke and even played pranks during the session. Most of the people where not interested in the subject still enjoyed it as it was fun filled class. A lecture filled with refreshment, enjoyment and commitment, commitment because we had deadline to meet.

I had bought a new DSLR ‘Nikion D60’ to have a better hand on the photography stuff. My sir also used to teach it using my new dslr, I remember those beautiful engineering girls that I used click and so made many friend from other institute in the campus. As I was the ‘Class Representative’ of the class I enjoyed free refreshment because koi na koi late jarur atah tha aur attendance ke liye bribe kar hi jatah tha. Man those where the days I miss my classmates, the Maggie canteen, the photography sessions and my college days.

धुन्दले सपने- Dhundale sapne

Manzile ki aure mei bade toh chala tha
ankhon mei liya woh dhundale sapne
khamoshi si thi shor mei
mei khada tha kise aure mei
kya saach tha kya jhoot
kaun apne kaun paraye
kya soch ke chala tha
aur ab kya soch ke ruka tha woh doe rahoon pe
pane ke liye tha asman
khoone ke liye ek aam insaan
phir bhi mei soch mei pada tha
kyu na jane dil mei bhauje sa dhala tha
yadoo ka sapna dala tha
Manzile ki aure mei bade toh chala tha
ankhoo mei liya woh dhundale sapne

The mask of cheerfulness

The mask of cheerfulness often covers my grief
My attitude concealed from most
Afraid of, but willing to face the unknown
doubt where my place is, in the journey called life
I have come close to sharing myself
Never completely revealing anything to anyone
thoughts of unseen chains corner me
When I dream, reality shatters before my very own eyes
Accomplishments I strives for just as my hands grip
I experience lost now and then, not yet finding my mark in this humanity
At times the glimmer in my calm eyes slowly depart
But within my heart a silent ignited flame burns me inside and out
I travel day by day, playing different roles in my life
Strength unknowingly resides in me
the past replicate itself once again
The transparent mask I so proudly wear
minute by minute answers will draw closer, approaching it away
someday there will be no more mask to wear
someday my values will be celebrated
someday they will know my place in their life
someday I will share myself
someday I won’t need this mask to wear.
